• An Bord Altranais registration for both General Nursing and Children’s Nursing
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in work practices
• Demonstration of ongoing professional updating and development.
• Ideally four years experience as a Staff Nurse with two years experience as a Paediatric Staff Nurse.

• Current registration with An Bord Altranais
• Have a minimum of 5 years full time post registration experience in general nursing including a minimum of 2 years full time experience in Specialist Palliative Care or Oncology
• Hold a recognised post registration qualification in Palliative Care at Degree Level
• Have proven Clinical, Leadership, Managerial & Customer Care skills
• Ability to work comfortably in multi-disciplinary teams, working closely with both clinical and administrative staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Flexibility in work practices.
