COVID-19 Emergency Room Patients

The current global COVID-19 pandemic is causing major changes and disruptions in the delivery of medical care.

The HSE / Saolta University Health Care Group has recommended that, as part of an overall strategy to optimise the delivery of health care to the region during this current emergency, the Emergency Room in the Galway Clinic should close.

Accordingly, this temporary closure will take effect from 5 pm on today, Friday 3 April 2020 until further notice.

For information about HSE emergency services in your area and updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, please refer to the website.
