We provide intermediate care for a wider spectrum of respiratory disease and long-term breathing difficulties, including difficult asthma, allergies, interstitial lung disease and respiratory failure needing domiciliary ventilatory support.
Our Respiratory consultants at the Galway Clinic are experts in asthma, allergy, bronchitis, cigarette induced lung disease (COPD), lung cancer, lung fibrosis and sleep disorders.
We also see patients with sleep related illness, and we have a Sleep and Pulmonary function laboratory for a range of sleep and diagnostic breathing tests that patients may require determining a diagnosis.

Respiratory Diagnostic Tests:
Lung function tests are breathing tests to check how well your lungs are working. The tests can be done for many conditions and help to:
