Huge congratulations to Dr Michele Hardiman, Nurse Practice Development Education and Research Facilitator at the Galway Clinic who has published a chapter in a book called, “Person-centred Nursing Research: Methodology, Methods and Outcomes’’.
The book is the first of its kind on person-centred nursing research and is edited by International experts in the field of person-centred practice Professors Jan Dewing; Brendan McCormack and Tanya McCance.
The chapter is titled “Knowing How to Act: Person-Centred Research Methods” Chapter 7.
Dr Michele Hardiman was the lead author, with international colleagues from Northern Ireland and Slovenia. The chapter explores research methods that are participatory and person-centred and some of the challenges and benefits for conducting this type of research in healthcare.
