Personal Details:
Dr. Hilary Allen provides an allergy service for both adults and children. She completed a Masters degree in Allergy Medicine through Imperial College London with Distinction and was awarded the Faculty of Medicine Dean’s prize for Allergy 2019. She also works in the paediatric allergy clinic in UHG, Galway.
Dr. Allen maintains an academic and clinical interest in Allergy, has presented her research both nationally and internationally. She continues her research in her role as an Honorary Clinical Fellow at NUI, Galway.
Dr. Allen was appointed to the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology working group in primary care 2019-2021. She is a member of the Irish Association of Allergy and Immunology and the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Allen studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin. On successful completion of specialist training in General Practice, she graduated as a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners 2009.
