Professional Details:
Mr. Aljabi is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his higher speciality training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (North West Thames) rotation in London, United Kingdom – working in a number of world renowned units including University College London Hospital, Royal Free London trust and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore). He has been a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in England since 2019. His fellowship training in Foot and Ankle surgery was in Cardiff with Mr Rhys Thomas and in Leicester with Ms Patricia Allen (Past President of the British Foot and Ankle Society). He completed a travelling fellowship to Dr Yves Tourné (Past President of the European Foot and Ankle Society) at Cliniqué des Cedres in Grenoble, France. Mr Aljabi is based at the Galway Clinic, St Vincent's University Hospital - Dublin, National Orthopaedic Hospital (Cappagh) - and the Beacon Hospital - Dublin.
Special Interests:
Mr. Aljabi offers a comprehensive Orthopaedic foot and ankle service and has a specialist interest in sport-related injuries of the foot and ankle, forefoot conditions, plantar fasciitis, tendinopathies, deformity correction, arthritic conditions (early and advanced) and complex trauma. Mr. Aljabi is based at the Galway Clinic and the Beacon Hospital, Dublin.
