From Galway, Ms. Maeve Gacquin graduated from the University of Ulster in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. She is a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute, the professional body for qualified dietitians in Ireland.
Ms. Gacquin has worked as a senior dietitian in the UK and Ireland for the last 15 years including 10 years in St Vincent’s University Hospital. Ms. Gacquin moved to Galway in 2010 and set up a private practice based in Galway Clinic.
Ms. Gacquin sees a wide variety of inpatients and outpatients in Galway Clinic with a focus on oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology and diabetes.
She has been involved in a number of projects including working with the University Hospital Galway, NUIG, MS Ireland, Croi, Brothers of Charity working with people with intellectual disability, The Irish Crohns and Colitis society, The diabetes Federation of Ireland and many others.
Ms. Gacquin is available for out-patient consultations, group talks and workshops via referrals or self-referrals to suite 30, Galway Clinic.
