Q: Are out-patient appointments going ahead in the Galway Clinic at present?

Yes, all outpatient appointments are going ahead as scheduled at present

 

Q: My Child has an outpatient appointment in the Galway Clinic, can he/she still attend?

Yes, all outpatient appointments for adults and children are going ahead as normal at present.

 

Q: If my appointment/surgery/ admission is cancelled will I be notified?

In the event that any appointments, admissions or surgeries are cancelled that Galway Clinic will contact each patient to inform.

 

Q: I need assistance and need someone to assist me to my appointment, can a family member or friend come with me?

Yes, please feel free to being someone with you for your appointment.

 

Q: I have an outpatient appointment/admission and I feel slightly unwell, what should I do?

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as:

  • A Cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • Breathing difficulties

  • High Temperature

Q: I need to attend the Galway Clinic Emergency Department for a non COVID-19 illness, what should I do?

Please contact the Emergency Department on 091 785 999 to speak with a member from our Clinical Team.

Q: I am worried that I may have COVID-19 or been in contact with someone with COVID-19. What should I do?

Galway Clinic is not a receiving hospital for COVID-19 and we do not have the ability to test for COVID-19.
