Insurance Information

Whether you are attending the Galway Clinic as an inpatient, day patient or outpatient it is important that you have the most up to date information regarding your insurance policy, excess payments or self-paying options.

You may contact the Galway Clinic about your upcoming procedure, test, admission or surgery on 1800 785000.

To make sure we can give you the most accurate and up to date information, please have the following information to hand:

The name of your insurance plan and policy number
The procedure code (you will be given this code from the consultant’s secretary)

We advise all patients to contact their insurance company directly, to find out your level of cover in the Galway Clinic for your procedure.

Please make note of any shortfall or excess that may apply to you, as this is payable on admission.

PAYMENT OPTIONS


If you are required to make an excess or shortfall payment this can be done on the day of admission, we accept the following methods of payment:

  • Credit/Debit card
  • Cash
  • Bank draft 
  • Electronic transfer
